INITIAL SITUATION
The customer was in a situation where technology on remote sites (companies with their own brands belonging to the group) was not centralized and designed according to the characteristics of a redundant system for a reliable management of services.
In detail, the offices presented themselves with:
- INFRASTRUCTURE UNRELIABLE AND LOW PERFORMANCE (MOSTLY PHYSICAL SERVERS)
- MANAGEMENT OF GRAPHIC ARCHIVES THROUGH RESCUE / REPLICATION MECHANISMS BASED ON THE RSYNC SERVICE, WITHOUT ANY REDUNDANT SECURITY LEVEL
- THE MAIN FUNCTIONALITIES, NOT BASED ON A REDUNDANT SYSTEM, IN THE FACE OF UNFORESEEN OR SIMPLE MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES WOULD HAVE COMPROMISED THE COMPANY'S OPERATIONS

ADVANTAGES OF THE SOLUTION
Through the HP and VMware technology solutions we have been able to consolidate all the servers present in the various branches, under a single virtual infrastructure.
With the potential of VMware vCenter we have built a solution designed to be managed centrally by the resident IT staff at the main office data center and, above all, able to ensure a recovery of operations over the 4 working hours in case of disastrous events.
Backup and restore policies have also been organized via Veeam at the local level, but reorganized as a redundant system to be visible and manageable on multiple levels of security by IT staff at headquarters.
